SEO strategist
Full time – Montreal/Hybrid – Salary : 65,000$-80,000$
Turko is looking for an SEO strategist / project manager. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, your main role is to guarantee the smooth running of services and to support our clients according to their SEO needs and objectives.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Produce technical and content audits (architecture, optimization, content calendar)
- Participate in SEO activities and deliverables during a website redesign (e.g. technical requirements, QA, migration plan, etc.)
- Maintain and plan our clients' content (and sometimes social media) calendar
- Run keyword analysis, assess current vs potential traffic through available tools
- Create, execute and manage content marketing campaigns
- Coordinate client resources and copywriters (when applicable) within an SEO project
- Monitor, analyze and report SEO performance
- Research and stay up to date on new developments, trends and technologies in the SEO universe

Desired skills
- 3 years, minimum, of experience in SEO strategy / project management and/or content marketing
- In-depth knowledge of SEO tools (Search Console, SEM Rush, Ahref, Screaming frog, etc.)
- In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics, Google My Business
- Ability to code in HTML and CSS
- Ability to create pages and manage content via CMS (e.g. WordPress, Magento, etc.)
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
Major assets
- Demonstrated ability in web writing and / or website creation
- University degree related to the position
- Google Analytics and/or Hubspot (Content Marketing) certification
- Proficiency in Google Sheets for data analysis (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- Experience in an agency or as a consultant
