Director of Paid Media
Full Time job – Montreal/Remote
Turko is looking for a Director of Paid Media to lead the growth of its department. Under the supervision of the Director of Operations, your main role will be to coordinate all production on the paid media side and ensure the constant growth of the agency according to the objectives set.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Promote the practice of paid media at Turko
- Work to improve the offer and internal processes of the paid media department at Turko
- Work with the management team to achieve the agency's growth objectives
- Lead a team of passionate people, specialized in paid media marketing campaign management (Paid Search and Paid Social)
- Oversee the strategy, execution and reporting of online advertising campaigns, across paid digital marketing channels
- Direct digital advertising campaigns from start to finish when necessary (especially for complex campaigns)
- Actively participate in achieving the digital marketing objectives of our clients
- Manage projects for the client by working closely with other members of the digital, creative and data teams
- Manage the budgets of the different campaigns and have an overview of media spending in general
- Act as a key resource within the team, regarding client activities for technical campaign insights, strategic insights and industry best practices
- Generate, analyze and communicate the report of KPIs and strategic information to clients, ensuring that the report is accurate and representative of performance, including ensuring that site analytics are always captured appropriately (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, etc.)

Desired skills
- 3 to 8 years of experience in team management and/or multi-project management
- 3 to 8 years of experience in digital campaign management (Google Ads and/or Facebook Ads)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- In-depth knowledge of the Google Ads advertising platform and the Google Ads Editor software
- In-depth knowledge of the Facebook Ad Manager and Facebook Business Manager advertising platform
- In-depth knowledge of Google Analytics
- Demonstrated understanding of the terms ROAS, ROI, CTR, CPC, CPM, etc.
- Excellent social, interpersonal and relational skills
- In-depth knowledge of Google Sheets (formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- Fluent in French and English (spoken and written)
Major assets
- In-depth knowledge of Supermetrics
- Experience in e-commerce or “lead generation”
- Agency experience
- Experience in “agile” management (concepts “Sprint”, “Backlog”, etc.)
- Demonstrated experience managing a team
- Google Ads, Google Analytics and/or Facebook Blueprint certification
- Knowledge of time entry tools (Clockify)
- Ability to configure metrics in GTM (Google Tag Manager)
- University degree related to the position
