Facebook is THE social network for sharing with friends, discovering useful content and being entertained. It’s also ideal for organizations who want to promote content that appeals to their target audience. That is why it’s so important to get the most from Facebook. Maybe your posts don’t reach a wide enough audience and don’t get many “likes”. Here are 5 tips for publishing relevant content on Facebook.

1- Define your target audience

It’s essential to define your target audience. Your website is like any other content- it must be directed to a specific group. The persona can be people of the same age, gender, occupation, etc.

If you didn’t draw much traffic with previous posts, the chances are you didn’t clearly define your audience beforehand. Your audience needs to feel a connection, and your offer should meet a specific need. Content that is relevant to your target audience will increase your exposure and website traffic, among other things.

2- High-quality and qualified content

High quality content isn’t the same as publishing endless paragraphs and countless hashtags. You’re better off being concise- get straight to the point. Shorter posts have a higher engagement rate.

Emojis in your Facebook posts can make a difference in engagement, as they define emotions associated with the content.

3- Photos and videos

If a picture is worth 1,000 words, a video is worth 1,000 pictures. Needless to say, photos and videos can generate more visitor engagement.

4- Interact and connect

Audience interaction is one of the most important, but too often overlooked, Facebook publishing tips. Interacting with interested Facebook users should be at the core of your strategy. You should actively engage with someone who comments on a post. Why would you do this? To generate a social community around your company. That way, recommendations to relevant questions can be made through published content.

5- Consistency

When is your audience most active on Facebook? What about your competitors? By studying the behaviour of your audience and competitors, you improve your publication strategies and attract even more visitors. In any case, it is crucial to have a plan and to be consistent in carrying it out.
