Director of data and analytics
Montreal / Hybrid / Salary : 90,000$-100,000$
Turko is looking for a director of data and analytics to expand its team. Under the supervision of the operations manager, you will be responsible for implementing e-measurements and tools, as well as interpreting the results to provide strategic information to the marketing team and customers.

Tasks and responsibilities
- Raising the profile of Turko's Data & Cybermetrics department
- Manage the entire e-measurement process (definition of objectives and performance indicators, measurement plan, implementation, analysis and recommendations)
- Create implementation guides for the various cybermetrics solutions selected
- Develop and implement a data and cybermetrics strategy for the agency and our customers
- Develop and implement a marketing data governance strategy for our customers
- Contribute to internal sales related to data governance and cybermetrics
- Analyze data and communicate optimization opportunities to internal teams (e.g. Paid media, SEO, CRM) to adjust strategies, marketing channels, messages and targeting.
- Keep abreast of trends, innovations and best practices in cybermetrics and data analysis
- Evaluate and recommend new tools and techniques to improve the effectiveness of cybermetrics within the agency
- Configure and oversee integration of data consent software (Didomi)
- Create and support the evolution of performance reports in Looker (Google Data Studio) and/or Google Sheets, using data connectors (e.g. Supermetrics).
- Ensure that certifications relevant to the data and cybermetrics department are kept up to date
- Coordinate an internal and external team for tasks assigned to the department

- At least 3 years' experience in Cybermetrics
- At least 1 year's experience in data governance
- Mastery of Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager
- Mastery of Looker (Google Data Studio)
- Basic knowledge of Google Big Query
- Mastery of Google Sheets
- Mastering Supermetrics
- Fluent in french and english (spoken and written)
Major assets
- Agency experience
- University degree related to the position
- Experience in web programming (Javascript, Google App Script, SQL, etc.)
- Experience in transactional e-commerce
- Google Cloud certification
- Google Analytics Individually Qualified (GAIQ) certification
- Knowledge of Fivetran
- Knowledge of dbt
- Didomi knowledge
- Knowledge of Power B.I. and/or Tableau
- Knowledge of Law 25 (Data Protection Act)
- Knowledge of digital marketing principles and online marketing channels
- University degree relevant to the position (e.g. MBA in e-commerce)
